More Pets....
Pets will cry with you, will bring you comfort in sadness...cuddling you and watching over you until you're feeling better.
Sit with a pet near a river, or a brook and meditate. He/she will be quiet and wait for you. Somehow he/she
knows you are going to another level of consciousness for a while and will understand more than you can ever know.
Pets vibrate to a higher frequency than humans and they are fascinating to study.
We share our planet with these creatures and the responsibility lies with us to make them comfortable and happy,
while giving and receiving from them. It is a duty of humankind to look out for animals.

SCAMP, our very first family pet...For the long story on Scamp please contact me and I'll be happy to share
SCAMP'S STORY with you. love, Rachel-Light
We found Scamp at a shelter. He was alone in a corner and wanted nothing to do with the big dogs. He was
a mixture of Scotty and many other varieties. A veritable Heinz 57. Smart and good with children. I wrote
a story about Scamp and how he reigned over the children and other animals on our street as my daughter was growing up. Loved
by all...The one who started it all in this family.

NALA...Our brightest girl...wisest from the very beginning. Have you ever noticed how cats stare at blank
walls, three feet from the floor and above? Do you know the reason?
Nala is docile and friendly. Loves to greet friends and visitors at the door. There is so much love in these
harmless creatures...they give it and love to receive it.
This is Nala, our oldest cat. She is 9 years old now, and wiser than any other cat I've ever known. When she
looks at me with those golden eyes, I see a whole other world within her.
Nala will sometimes sit in on my meditation classes. She sits on her cushion and listens to the music with the
rest of us while I guide the group to their special place. She knows the session is over before I do, that's when she leaves
the room very quietly. What a blessing from above these pets we own !
For the long version of Nala's life please contact me, love, Rachel-Light
This is our famous Tango! Tango played a vital part in rehabilitating senior citizens. Each Sunday, we would
walk into my mother-in-laws nursing home where Tango would immediately go to the elevator, wait for the door to open and get
out before us at the right floor.
He would then go to each room and wait for the praises. Then he'd go on to the solarium where dozens of seniors
afflicted with all sorts of aging diseases would heap praises and cuddles on him.
Tango was a vocal dog. He spoke in different tones for different situations. Even our vet was amazed at the vocalizations
he could produce when excited. Tango died too young. He was only ten years old. We miss him still.
A longer version of Tango's life with us is in the making. Please stay tuned! love, Rachel-Light

Below is Fritz, a friendly chap that I found sitting in the shelter one day. He now belongs to a close friend
and visits here often. Fritz loves to organize the cats' routines and herd them a few times a day. We wonder why because
he has no resemblance at all to herding dogs. A loving doggy for sure.

Below is Michou, our good friend and frequent visitor. Michou spends many weeks at a time with us when
his family travels abroad. Michou is kind, gentle and doesn't like cats. So what's he doing here? Well, we all have lessons
to learn on earth and so does Michou...perhaps living with cats is one of them. And the cats learn something also.
Love,
Rachel
